Several months ago while at a Small Group meeting, a comment was made about how corrupt our political establishment is. How ALL the politicians are entangled and entitled in such a way that they are unable (and certainly unwilling) to make forward progress for the citizens of this country.
In frustration I said something like: “Someone has to fix this!”
To which, my good friend Mike said: “I think that someone is us…”
That “us” is the average American citizen who loves this country and wants to be proud of what we hand down to our children and our children’s children.
At the moment, it is being driven straight into the ditch.
It is with this realization that I have decidedly gotten way more involved in politics than I ever thought I would.
Here we go…
Isn’t it great to watch the talking heads in politics? Hearing all the Democrat and Republican candidates yack and yack, while saying nothing.
Notice how “most” have carefully worded speeches and canned responses to questions? Commentary carefully scripted to ensure no-one is put-off?
Why do you suppose this is?
It is because of their donors. Their backers. These backers are better known as Political Action Committees (or PACs). These PACs represent special interest groups (industry-related or issue-oriented).
What is their purpose? To move forward (or protect) the agenda of that group (or PAC).
Well, guess what:
- Industry-related groups want to protect profits
- Issue-oriented groups want to push forth or protect their agenda
When I (personally) consider the above and apply some intelligence I ask myself the question: Where is the special interest group representing the Average American?
Hint: There is none!
So, instead, we have “our” politicians being scripted (a.k.a. as incented or BRIBED) to carry forth the agenda of various PACs which DO NOT represent the average citizen of the United States of America.
Are we going to stand for this any longer?
This is NOT a discussion about being a Democrat or Republican. It REALLY isn’t. They are equally corrupt on both sides of the aisle.
And, anyone who votes for a typical politician who is currently running for President is only contributing to the problem, not the solution. That is, they (the typical politicians) are ALL being mastered by various combinations of puppeteers, which do NOT represent the average citizen of this great country.
Really, are we going to stand for this any longer?
There is only one person who is currently running for President whose special interest group is the American people.
Mr Trump is self-funded. He cannot be bought.
That is one of the reasons why he can truly “speak his mind.” This vs. ALL the other candidates who must carefully walk on eggshells in their quest to remain politically correct and within the agenda of the puppeteers (I mean PACs) which fund them.
It is time to throw this out the window and just get the job done.
A few people still don’t take Mr Trump seriously. Perhaps this is due to laziness. People who are unwilling to perform their own due diligence and really dig in to learn more about what is really going on.
Instead of ONLY listening to the sound bites thrown from the media, consider doing some intelligent research on the lead candidate who represents a much needed movement, to make this country great again.
For example, listen to the words from the horse’s mouth…
We have a choice: Do our OWN intelligent research or simply parrot back what we hear from the media and others (who ALSO haven’t done their own intelligent research).
More to come!
p.s. – I’m REALLY looking forward to receiving my Trump license plate frames that I will proudly don to show my support for the one candidate whose only special interest group is the American People. Click here to get yours.
